ony Mobile has announced the Xperia T3 (D5102, D5103, D5106). This device is no successor to the Xperia Z Ultra. The very thin body (7mm in thickness) uses a stainless steel frame, which also acts as the phones antenna. The body has a matte back cover.

Key features include a 5.3-inch (720 x 1280) IPS display with 277 PPI (Pixels Per Inch), Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8X28 chipset with 1.4GHz quad-core processor and Adreno 305 graphics, 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage with micro SD memory card.

Meet The New Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0

Less Time Charging, More Time Doing as the Qualcomm says in official announcement of the new Quick Charge 2.0.
You can’t go mobile if you’re stuck plugged into an outlet waiting for your smartphone or tablet to charge. Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 resides in both the device (offered as a standalone IC solution or as part of the PMIC power management integrated circuit of Snapdragon™ 800 processors) and in the AC/DC wall charger. It’s even faster and more flexible than Quick Charge 1.0, and will be inside smartphones and tablets powered by Snapdragon 800 processors.

Products with Quick Charge 2.0 can charge up to 75% faster than products without Quick Charge technology. In our labs we found tablets that normally take over 7 hours to charge were able to reach full charge in less than 3 hours with the Quick Charge 2.0 solution.
Qualcomm announce to release Quick Charge 2.0 to customers in Japan thanks to NTT DOCOMO. The carrier is expected to provide Qucik Charge 2.0-supported AC adapters to users later this year while every Snapdragon 800-powered device supports the technology at the hardware level.

Sony Xperia Z2 Drop Test

The latest flagship of Sony was subjected to the drop test by Android Authority. And surprisingly the glass phone did better than the rivals with metal and plastic as build material. The predecessor of Z2 was not so lucky to the drop test although same materials were used to build the Z1.
Here is the video of Z2 drop test.
Thanks to android authority.

Sony Announced the wireless charging cover for Z2

Well maybe Sony is never known for bringing the latest techs to their smartphones but they are not far behind others in implementing them.

The Google Nexus Line produced by LG  and Lumia Series by Nokia Microsoft is well known for their wireless charging feature and now even Samsung are using it just by swapping a back cover as in case of Samsung Galaxy S5(Their 2014 flagship product),
which is available to buy now.

But as far as my opinion goes i say Sony needs it more for their water proof line up...Xperia Z, Xperia Z1, Xperia Z2 (Also includes tablets).
The charging is pain in a** in case of a waterproof phone, opening a flap evry single time!!!!
Although Sony has an alternate magnetic charging option but that doesnot come up to wireless charging with no hassle(Me , using a magnetic cable for my Z2, surely try the wireless option)

The Cover works with a separately bought plate from Sony or any Qi certified charging plate.

The Cover is SCR12 for Xperia Z2 and the plate mentioned is WCH10.
I am hoping they dont price it so stiff..will get my hands on once they are available.

Xperia Z2 unboxing and first impressions

Sony's much awaited Smartphone is in news these days. Sony has done pretty good job in the phone.
If you dont already know about the phone let me give you some information about it.

A 4K camcorder and a 20.7 MP camera, combined in a smartphone

The Xperia Z2 combines 4K video capture with a large 1/2.3(1.10cm) 20.7 MP Exmor RS™ for mobile image sensor, Sony’s award-winning G Lens and the intelligent BIONZ™ for mobile image-processing engine. This unique combination means the Xperia Z2 has the same quality and performance as a real compact digital camera. The result is images that are delivered with a superior sharpness, clarity and brightness – always.

Motion detection for blur-free images

Are you living life in the fast lane? Just keep moving – with the best camera phone at hand, your pictures will always come out sharp. The bright F2.0 lens and high sensitivity sensor enable you to take photos with a higher shutter speed. The BIONZ™ for mobile image-processing engine has Motion Detection – it chooses a higher shutter speed to capture blur-free images when your subject is moving. The Superior Auto mode does all the hard work for you.

Capture high-resolution 4K videos with Sony’s best phone camera, the Xperia Z2

Slow down the moment with Timeshift video
This Android smartphone from Sony lets you shoot video at 120 frames per second in HD 720p.
Clear and loud. With Sony’s audio technologies, you can be sure to experience the best sound, always.
The Xperia from Sony’s latest camera phone comes with the best imaginable audio experience.

Digital noise cancellation

Block out the world around you with digital noise cancellation that reduces up to 98% of all ambient sounds. Based on a technology referred to as Active noise control, this technique removes the lower-frequency portions of the noise, preventing high-frequency noise from ever reaching the ear. Since noise-cancelling technology is built into the smartphone device, you can enjoy noise-free sound with the sleek MDR-NC31EM headphones. These headphones sample surrounding noise through a microphone. When compensated by the DNC circuit in the Xperia device, the resulting output is a clear, noise-free sound.

Sony’s Xperia lets you the world’s most vivid and bright display.
Best Display in its Class.....
